Interests Outside of HPU: Fishing, Historical research, buying and selling antiques

Recent Notable Projects: 1) Designed water system for freshman organic chemistry lab. 2) Organized freshman lab equipment, over Summer 2017, so the lab would be more functional and usable for all chemistry professors. 

Favorite Bible Verse: “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” -Genesis 1:1

Inspiration Behind the Verse: As a scientist, this verse is especially important to me. We study everything from the atom to the largest molecule, from our planet to our solar system, and from our galaxy to the whole universe. The intricate organization of everything is a testimony to the fact that God created it all.
